A classic frog-crossing arcade game, rebuilt for the ZX Spectrum Next

Guide five brave frogs across five lanes of roaring traffic and a river full of drifting logs, diving turtles and hungry crocodiles to reach the safety of their lily-pad homes. The core gameplay you remember is all here, with some modern twists, a full-screen presentation and a soundtrack that drives all three of the Next's sound chips.

- Bubble Shield: survive one hit

- Time Freeze: slows the traffic and stops the clock

- Super Leap: press FIRE to jump two rows at once

- Gems: 500 bonus points

- COMBO MULTIPLIER: chain quick forward hops for up to x5 points

- FIREFLY FRENZY: a moonlit bonus stage after every third level. Catch all 12 fireflies for a PERFECT 5000 bonus!

- The danger keeps rising: diving turtles, crocodiles in the river, a snake on the riverbank, crocs lurking in the home bays and surging river rapids

- Snap up the flies in the home bays, and earn an extra frog every 20,000 points

HOW TO PLAY

1. Copy ribbitrush.nex to your Next's SD card

2. Select it in the Browser and press ENTER

3. Get all five frogs home before the timer runs out!

Requires a ZX Spectrum Next (or a Next emulator).

In an emulator, turn on 3 AY chips (TurboSound) to hear the full soundtrack.
